Making Money with Free Articles Content

November 7th, 2009 Harry Constantine No comments

Some web publishers try to use articles from free content directories to get visitors to their site and earn some money. This is mostly crucial for those who have just started up as an affiliate for several web sites and do not yet have any capitals, yet need to built small niche websites to drive visitors to their site so that they can begin making some profits .

Although this can sometimes be the only option for those who are running on a non-existent budget, it is not a way that will effectively build your web site or revenue. There are a couple of potential reasons why this may be detrimental to your business building efforts.

Problem #1 – Search Engines

Search engines will only look down upon your site if it has the exact same duplicated content than other web sites. The more websites that share your content, the less it will help you achieve good search engine rankings.

Good search engine rankings are important in getting visitors to your site so that they have a chance to click on your order links. If you cannot even get visitors, then will never make an revenue. Working on the search engine optimization of your site so that you will eventually be high enough in the results to get customers, should be priority one.

Problem #2 – Getting visitors to click

Although getting your website high on search engine result pages and acquiring site traffic is hard work, unfortunately this is only half of the battle. You must also be able to convince those visitors to click on your affiliate links. If your visitors see the same content they have seen on a multitude of other website, they will be least likely to click on your links. This is because most people want to buy things that are recommended by people that they trust or whom they feel like are an expert on the subject.

If your content is just duplicated from other web sites, you will be exposed as someone who does not actually know what they are talking about and therefore will not look heavily on your product recommendations. This will reduce the number of web site visitors who are willing to click through.

Problem #3 – Author Bylines

Most free content with reprint rights is only given to you if you agree to place the authors byline under the article (you can get into trouble if you try to use it without following the stipulated rules). This poses a problem because most author bylines include links. When a reader gets done reading a really intriguing article, there is a strong possibility that they will will click on the author resource box link rather than your own links. This is the entire reason why these authors offer free content to begin with, so that they may get their name and links out there to the public. Using this type of content may mean shooting yourself in the foot and losing profits with your web site visitors.

Once you put these three problems together, you are looking at a serious decline in profits simply because you used free website content from article sites. Although it may be the only option for some, if you have the funds to buy your own exclusive content, then you should go this route. If you don have the finds, however, you may be better off writing your own content and then hiring professional services once you have made a profit to work with.

3 Reasons for Using Adsense

October 19th, 2009 Owen Jones No comments

In order to understand why Adsense is essential for your content sites, you must first understand how it works.

The theory is very simple, if you think about it. The publisher or the webmaster puts a java script into a website. Each time the page is accessed, the java script will pull adverts from the Adsense program. The adverts that are displayed should therefore be closely related to the content on the web page serving the advertisement. If a visitor clicks on an advertisement, the webmaster serving the ad earns a portion of the money that the advertiser is paying Google for the click.

The search engine is the one managing all the tracking and payments, providing an easy way for webmasters to display content-sensitive and targeted ads without having the bother of contacting advertisers, collecting funds, and monitoring the clicks and statistics, which would be a time-consuming job in itself. It seems that there is never a deficiency of advertisers in the program, from which the search engine draws the Adsense adverts. Furthermore, webmasters don’t have to be so concerned about the information the search engines are providing and can be more intent on earning money from those search engines.

The first explanation why Adsense is indispensable for content websites is because it already has learned a lot about the needs of publishers and webmasters. Its continuous advancement means the appearance of a more complex system that allows full advert customization. Webmasters are given the opportunity to select from a number of different types of text ad formats to better match their website and suit their webpage design.

The diverse styles of formatting permit the site owner the likelihood of more clicks-through from visitors who may or may not be aware of what they are clicking on. This way the people behind Adsense, Google, will get their advertisements read and make sales in the process.

The second explanation is the ability of the Adsense publishers to follow not only how their websites are progressing, but also the earnings based on the webmaster-defined channels. Recent improvements in search engine technology gives webmasters the ability to monitor how their adverts are performing using customizable reports that have the facility to count page impressions, clicks and click-through rates. In this fashion, webmasters and publishers can trace specific advert formats, colors and pages within a website. Trends are also easily spotted.

You can assess the effectiveness of the changes you have made quickly by use of these reports. That means you can sort out the subject matter that surfers are making the most clicks on. Ever-changing requirements can be met while generating cash for the webmasters and publishers. The more flexible tools are also allowing webmasters to group web pages by URL, domain, ad kind or category, which will provide them an accurate insight on which pages, ads and domains are performing the best.

The last and final reason is that advertisers have realized the benefits connected with having Google adverts served on targeted websites. This increases the possibility that a web surfer will have an interest in their products or services. All because of the content and its constant upkeep

Adsense is all about related subject matter, the more targeted your subject matter is, the more targeted the search engines adverts will be. There are some web masters and publishers who are focused more on their site contents and how best to maintain them than the cash that the adverts will generate for them.

There was a time when people were not yet aware of the money to be achieved from adverts. The cash generated only came into existence when the webmasters and publishers realized how they could make Adsense be the generator of ads and sales. In those days, subject matter was the most important factor. It still is. With the attraction of capital, of course.

Ways To Produce The Greatest Articles

October 11th, 2009 Carol Cheung No comments

What is the best way to attract people to come to your site, when you articles are finished and already uploaded onto the website? The key element is the content of your work. Remember that the information you provide should be as new as possible. You may have to edit and efficient upload whatever you think is suitable for the site. I believe the following suggestions will be helpful for all of you.

1. You have to know what you are writing about. The information in the article will only be valid and sensible if you know the subject well. You may have a lot of first hand experience because you have worked or studied in that particular field before. In case you are absolutely new to the subject, you can either do some research on your own, or seek help from experts by simply conduct an interview with them. They will give you insights to what the subject matter is.

2. Write only about what you’re interested in! Readers can easily sense your enthusiasm and be attracted to your writing especially if you have a great interest in your topic because as a result, you may be able to include more exclusive information as well as some personal experiences which creates a more realistic picture. Other than successful experiences, you may also include some failures that you have came across for readers to take references.

3. Tell the readers your objective of writing the article. You should start the article by telling them what the article is about. Sometimes you may even need to give detailed explanation. In any case, you must give enough information in the first paragraph that enables your readers to decide whether the article is important for them to read or not.

4. Basic questions should be answered in the article. If you state a question in the first paragraph, say you ask how one should make money at home, you should be able to provide him or her with the answer in the rest of the article. The explanation or answer to those questions should be a step-to-step guide. Elaboration is important here to clearly reply to the first paragraph.

5. Write about a specific topic with plentiful information. If you cannot do so, you readers may not understand what the article is about and end up with questions. With precise and informative articles, your readers will believe in you and get back to your website to see if there is any updated information.

6. Allocate your article accordingly. Remember, short little paragraphs are usually easier to digest than long dull sentences. Most readers are likely to just skim through articles to search for what they want to read. Therefore you should try to organize it by adding bullet points to things that you want to emphasize. Bullet points enable readers to quickly summarize your information.

Your website will definitely attract more visitors once you integrate these useful tips to your articles. Moreover, search engines will be able to detect your website and help you hunt for your target readers. Just write an interesting, explicit piece of article and publish it to your own website.

Unique Article Wizard Secrets

October 7th, 2009 Carrie Spry No comments

I came across the Unique Article Wizard (UAW) early in my Internet Marketing days. And “Thank God!” By then I had tried so many products and got ripped off. This service submits a totally unique version of your article to usually over 1000 sites, depending on the topic. Unfortunately, when you sign up, you must agree not to tell how it creates the unique versions. What I can tell you is how your articles get all over the Internet.

There are many plugins offered for different types of sites, like Wordpress. All you need to do is install the plugin, set your preferences and there you have. You will receive hundreds of topic specific articles to your niche site.

Websites with this plugin receive the articles and publish them. They get unique content, you get exposure. This helps them to rank higher because the content is always changing and allows more users to see your article.

The UAW has a database of all your articles, which allows you to edit them, and after 4 months, you can even re-submit them. This will ensure your articles are always being circulated and close to the top. Other features of the Unique Article Wizard are that you can add images, audio, and even video to your articles. You can’t beat that.

They are constantly improving the service and it’s getting better and better. They often have contests and incentives. They also offer an affiliate program if you are interested in promoting them. I know I have no problem promoting good products.

OK, I know. I sound like a salesman. I’m not asking you to believe me. I’m asking you to give it a try. If you don’t like it cancel. If you find your traffic doesn’t improve, cancel. But once you try it, you’ll wonder why the hell didn’t you hear about this before. I know I did.

All you have to do is create a few articles and submit them. After a few days, the traffic will start to increase. If your trying to make money online, you should have some way of tracking traffic. Check it. Don’t just trust me here. Give it a try.

In one month, you can easily get a few hundred new visitor per day. All that with only 5 articles. If you wrote more articles, consider the increase. Don’t forget, your articles should be good ones, no one want to site through a page of crap.

Learn To Write A Good Article

October 3rd, 2009 Carol Cheung No comments

What’s next after setting up a website? Obviously, it is to constantly update it with some exciting information that keeps people coming back in order to increase the number of visitors each day. To achieve that, here are some tips I have came up with that leads to a good piece of article.

1. Be clear with what you are trying to say. It is important that you have enough knowledge about your subject matter because you may happen to have all the exclusive knowledge that people may not know and that is what attracts them. If you are just an amateur, it’s best for you to do more research before generating an article. You may also find it useful to ask an expert for his opinions.

4. Solve the questions that you have raised. It is important that you solve all the enquiries that you have brought up in the first paragraph. For example, if you are writing about working at home, you should be prepared to provide a rough progressive plan for your readers to follow. Remember to explain clearly on each step in your plan.

5. Your article should be explicit as well as educational. Many online writers fail to achieve this, which leaves their readers with plenty of unsolved questions in their mind. I am sure you do not want to have the same type of readers either, right? That’s why you will need to write explicitly in order to keep them coming back to your website. That will not only make your article more fruitful, as well as to to build trust between you and your readers.

6. Your article should be divided into sections to make them more readable. Long paragraphs are discouraging and people usually won’t have the patience for that. Keep the paragraphs short and simple so readers get the gist of it by scanning through it. To do this effectively, you can use either bullet points, or numbers. The clear division would help readers to figure out the context easily and summarize what they are interested in knowing.

All the tips mentioned will help you produce better articles for your site. Follow them closely and you are guaranteed to see the target visitor number increases as time goes by. The tips also help with search engine results, which means even more people will get to know what sort of great articles you have been writing. So start typing and bear those tips in mind.

Learn Why SEO is Not A Science!

October 1st, 2009 Yasir Y Khan No comments

Any person who says that SEO is a science (and not an art) is definitely wrong. If search engine optimization were a science, we would all be making thousands of dollars because many of us would have cracked the code on how to get those coveted rankings in Google.

SEO is mostly an art (even though some parts can be thought of as a science), because there are many ways to do it successfully, and the exact way of ranking high is often elusive. Here are some reasons why SEO is not a science:

1. No one knows what the secrets to doing SEO the right way is: No one knows what the secret sauce is. If you think there are people who know the exact way to rank high, you are wrong. The algorithm that Google uses changes many times a month, so trying to crack the code does not work.

2. Ranking high is a quality game: If ranking high was based on quantity, people would spend thousands of dollars trying to get crappy links (and many people still do that), just so they can beat their competition. Ranking high is really dependent on many things, but focusing on quality of inbound links makes a big difference.

3. Google hates it when you make them look stupid: There are countless websites which are burnt down by Google every year. Most of these websites either have spammy content or simply try to trick Google into making them rank high. Because Google can be quite difficult to fool, SEO is not a science, otherwise everyone would be fooling Google all the time.

4. Most people who take the wrong approach fail: There are thousands of SEO agencies selling links for 10 cents a piece from their own network of websites. What they do not know is that the links pass no link juice, because their Page Rank has been burnt to the ground. Anything which tries to relate SEO to a science fails miserably.

5. Ranking high mostly is a very difficult task with a huge reward: If you can rank high easily, what is stopping everyone else from doing the same thing. This would totally defeat the purpose of having search engines. Therefore, steps have been taken to make sure people cannot game the search engines, which means that ranking high is not a science.

Viral E-Books; A Great Method On Viral Marketing Campaign

August 31st, 2009 Steve Shaw No comments

It is a well known and widely accepted fact, that E-books.FREE E-booksare one of the best weapons in a viral marketing campaign arsenal. Here are four good reasons why this is true today and will continue to be true for the foreseeable future:

1. E-books are cheap to produce and don’t take long to set up.

If you owned an article related to a product that you’re promoting, you can compile it together and make it into an E-book. But if you don’t have time or writing is not your cup of tea, you can use E-books that are rebrand-able which are created by other people. You can also use some search engines and just type Rebrand-able E-book, there are lots of sites that will appear that contains information that you’re looking for.

One way to distribute these E-books to visitors to your website is to give them as a free gift for subscribing to your newsletter. If your E-book contains material that people will want to share with their friends and family, they will pass it along to them they will pass it along to othersand you will make money.

2. E-books can reach a huge audience

The only thing that will limit you on attaining this goal is the enthusiasm of yourself as well as your participants. Therefore, the first thing you must look on is the content of your E-books. Remember people want to share timely information or something that they can enjoy and they wan to know information that other people don’t know. They also want to pass along something that can make them apart from others.

3. E-books can be a way to sell different products

As an example: if you were selling garden products, your customers may also be interested in E-books which talk about trees and landscaping, lawn maintenance and so on.

4. Using E-books are the best way to put out a good reputation.

There is an implied proposal, if you share a good quality E-books, users are willing to pass it on to others.

The Basic Guide on How to Write Articles

August 27th, 2009 Christina Shannon No comments

First thing that you need to realize when writing articles is that you do not have to be a professional writer, nor do you have to be anywhere near the skill level of a pro, but it will help. The main goal is to get the attention of your audience and relate to them with some good information.

For instance you do not want to style of writing to be hard to read. Meaning you will not want to get super technical, in which the reader will have to refer to a dictionary throughout the article to understand what it is you are trying to say.

Talk to your niche audience through your articles. You’ve got to set up a connection with them. And this can be done through the manner that you present your articles. You have to make them feel like you are a friend that they can turn to if they are having problems in some aspects of their business.

Make headlines and tags catchy. Remember that you are not writing to try to win any awards, well most of us are not writing for that reason anyway.

Another tip is to make the article reader friendly. This can easily be accomplished by using short paragraphs instead of long ones. It is a good practice to keep paragraphs 2-3 sentences long, and make sure the sentence is not one that runs on.

As a minimum I would use 8 paragraphs, and make sure that every small paragraph is packed with helpful detail. This will get you a good reputation as a writer if you do this. Not only that people will look to you for advice for their questions especially if you nail their niche on the bulls eye.

Use the word you when you are writing the article. This way, the one who will be reading it will feel a sense like you are directing them because they are important. It will be easier to capture their interest this way.

That is all that is really to it when it comes to writing articles. The one thing that you have to take note is that you are doing this to drive visitors to your web site. You have to make as many individuals aware about the products that you are offering and lead them to you. Another way this can be done is by providing good copies at the resource box or at your author’s bio section on each of your article.

It is not that hard to write articles that are good and can be submitted to article directories. Just remember the more value the article has, the better the chances are for visitors to stop by your website.
