Benefits To Using An Article Submission Software

December 7th, 2009 Ryan Edward No comments

Today, the competition on the Internet is pretty stiff, so you need to do everything you can to be top notch in your particular niche. There are a lot of ways you can use to generate traffic to your website, and one of the ways is by writing and submitting articles to directories. In fact, this is a very effective method. There are five things that make using article submission software very beneficial if you’re going to be submitting articles to directories.

1. Time savvy

The number one reason you want to use article submission software is because of the amount of time you will save. If you want to have any kind of effect with article submitting, you need to be submitting to hundreds of directories. As you can imagine, this takes hours upon hours to complete. However, having submission software can cut this time down to virtually nothing while still allowing you to reap the benefits.

2. Find countless article directories

While the internet is filled with thousands of article directories, it is not always easy to know where they are. Fortunately, submissions software makes it easy for you to know what all of the latest directories are to choose from. Many software will even update your list every time you load it.

3. Massive amount of exposure

The whole point behind writing and submitting articles is to gain exposure and generate traffic. By submitting your articles to hundreds of directories, you will have all of your content amidst the eyes of millions. This allows you to gain credibility while displaying your knowledge and expertise for various topics.

4. Easy organization

It can be difficult keeping track of which directories you have submitted to and which you have not. Using article submission software makes it easy to stay organized and remember which directories you have already submitted to. It will also allow you to keep all of the articles you have written organized along with the author bios if you decide to have multiple.

5. Helps with targeted traffic

When it comes to your business, of course you want traffic to come to your website, but what you REALLY want is targeted traffic. That is, you want people to visit your website will already want what you have to offer and are chomping at the bit to look at your website. When you use article submission software, you can select a particular category or subcategory for your articles, which will make it easier for your target market to find you.

We can go on and on about the benefits using article submission software can give you. It creates targeted traffic, helps you stay organized, saves you lots of time, and more. Because of this, there’s no reason you shouldn’t include this in your marketing strategy.

Are You Suffering From Writers Block?

November 12th, 2009 Tom Binns No comments

Everyone has their own way of dealing with writers block. Some people will sit around and wait until something will come to them. While other’s will find something that will take their minds off of the problem they are facing. No matter who you are, if you write, it will hit you one day or another.

Frustration could be the best way to describe this time in a writer’s life. One where something just isn’t getting to the right places. Your hands and brain aren’t working together anymore or something. How about setting up a way that you can deal with this before it happens?

Many people will tell you that each day you need to write down something. Spend at least fifteen minutes where you sit and write it won’t need to make sense. But as long as you do this, writing should always come to you when it’s needed.

Unfortunately no matter how many prompts you do or days you write. Guess what, you will still at times hit that brick wall. The one where you stare off into space and can’t think of one single thing to place down. Nothing is going to come to no matter how hard you try.

This is when you may need to head out of the house. Go shopping do anything besides trying to write. As you sit around more and nothing comes you’ll accomplish nothing but getting more upset. So find something else to do for a while that day and maybe even the next one.

Many writers will have this happen through the years they write. There is nothing wrong with you, and nothing that a doctor will be able to help out with. Instead it is going to be all you who will either find the muse again, or sit around with nothing to do.

In closing, think positive it shouldn’t last for that long!

Internet Home Based Business: Keyword Marketing Ideas

November 5th, 2009 Mcgowan Jefferson No comments

Starting a successful Internet business is a dream that many desire. With so many options available these days, so many become confused and therefore never realize the dream. There are many ways to make money on the Internet in one of many niche markets. However, your choice of niche will play a key role in your success.

You should never think about starting an online business without first considering the niche market. A niche is just a segment of a much broader market. An example of a niche market could be baby strollers or a specific skincare line of products. They represent the desires of a segment of the market and not the market itself.

So where should you begin when thinking about a niche? The best place to start is with keyword research. This phase is not only critical to your success, but failing to do so will lead to dismal failure. The online the keywords you target are your market and represent the desires of the market as a whole or in part.

If you target the wrong set of keywords for the type of market you want to reach then all of your efforts will be in vain. It is of paramount importance to thoroughly research the related phrases that people will type in the search engines like Google, to find the type of services and products you plan to promote. Additionally, by focusing your marketing efforts on specific phrases, this will make it much easier to track buying keyword conversions too.

An example of a market that is too high in competition would be mortgages or credit cards. It would be insane to target a keyword phrase as competitive as this. There is too much competition to get a running start. Instead, focus on subsets of the market by narrowing your selection on specific long-tail keyword phrases.

Keyword research plays a major role in the research and start-up phase of your online business. Many have made the mistake of targeting the wrong keywords in their marketing and traffic generating activities only to be disappointed when they either have little or no traffic or visitors that do not convert. We do not want this to happen to you.

Keyword research begins online. There are plenty of databases that you can access. Some databases are free while others require a small fee. The best keyword research tool that you can use is Google’s own keyword tool. It is not only free, but the data is compiled from their data centers based on actual monthly search results.

The Google keyword tool will give you all of the preliminary data you need to consider before going into a specific market. I encourage you to use this tool frequently. You will not only get all kinds of ideas for online businesses, but you will get a good understanding of how searches are conducted online. This data will help you in your quest to start an online business.

Why Website Optimization Is So Much Fun

November 3rd, 2009 Simon M Skinner No comments

Search Engine Optimization. Doesn’t sound like a lot of fun, does it? Even when you call it SEO, it still just sounds so… technical. Thankfully, SEO doesn’t have to be some sort of dreadful thing.

In fact, you may even find that SEO is downright fun. Simply put, search engine optimization is basically taking keywords and using them within your articles or website text, and those keywords are the same as the ones the people try to search for when they use search engines. It’s really pretty simple. For example, if you are selling baby blankets, you would optimize your site for all the phrases that people tend to use when searching for baby blankets on the web today.

SEO doesn’t have to be terribly complicated and you can have fun doing it. The secret is to look at optimizing your text as something fun rather than a chore. Once you practice a little and gain some skill at it, you’ll find that it’s something you enjoy doing. So what can you do to make SEO fun? Make a game of it. Here’s how ? start by just writing down everything you’d like to say on your website. Don’t worry too much about your keywords yet, just write! After you get your first draft down, go through it and identify all of the keywords and key phrases you’ve already included. Next, go back and try to work in other keywords which you didn’t include the first time. One trick is to try replacing pronouns like “it” that refer to a keyword. Make sure that your text still makes sense though!

This is because while you can have a lot of fun with SEO, it is possible to overdo it. People really don’t want to read something which is overcrowded with keywords. A good rule of thumb is to keep your keywords to 1-2% density. What does this mean? It means that you should have one or two keywords per 100 words of text. For instance, if you have written a web page or article which is about 400 words long, your keyword should be in there about 4-8 times. Try making a game of it and see if you can “hit the target” on your first try. With some practice, this will become second nature and you’ll be producing search engine optimized content with the best of them.

SEO isn’t completely effortless, but with some practice you’ll find that you know something a lot of other people don’t ? that SEO isn’t as hard as many think and can actually be fun to do. Just remember to keep your keywords balanced and you’ll be able to get a better ranking for your website while writing content that people will actually want to read.

How To Make Your Bathroom A Stylish Spa for Relaxation

October 25th, 2009 Janice Nickole No comments

Did you know that the Greeks and Romans actually invented great bathroom design concepts starting from their “communal baths”? They also incorporated the relaxation techniques from the mineral salts they added that they believed had healing properties.

Well, we’ve incorporated the same concept of healing and medicinal properties in our bathroom designs today. Only the relaxation concept has changed from the communal bath to just one person, you, relaxing in a large tub with jets, soaking in something like lavender salts, that comfort and soothe our sore and tired muscles.

Peace and tranquility are the key elements of great bathroom design. It is the design theme that is carried through from start to finish. Our bathrooms should offer us a type of “oasis” to retreat to. A private sanctuary to escape the worries and cares of the world, and slip into a “spa-like” sensation we can enjoy with or without the tub jets.

Of course the ultimate bathroom design will have fragrant candles burning, while the flames dance to soft music playing in the background. Doesn’t this sound wonderful, as you soak in hot, aromatic water mixed with lavender mineral salts?

This is the secret to achieve the ultimate “bathroom bliss” our health spas today know all to well. They’ve incorporated all these special relaxation techniques for maximum benefits which we enjoy thoroughly and help us release worries and tensions away.

But did you know it is easy to achieve the same design concept in our own bathrooms, no matter how small or large they are?

Start with a design theme that will introduce calmness to the room, like a Japanese or English garden for example. Also your color theme will be just as important. You can choose cool colors like blues and greens or warm colors that include reds, oranges and gold.

You’ve got an array of bathroom fixtures to choose from when it comes to tubs, sinks, faucets, lighting and flooring. Stick to your design theme and it won’t be as hard as you think. The store representatives can help you or consider hiring an Interior Designer. Formal picks can be marble and granite, and casual picks can be travertine or slate.

Don’t forget your accents. Like plush towels resting on a towel warmer and plush carpeting or accent rugs you can sink your toes into after that unforgettable and relaxing soak. Just think, you can always escape into your “bathroom bliss” again tomorrow.

Keyword Research Tips That Can Make Your Internet Business Successful

October 22nd, 2009 Solomon Fletcher No comments

Do you want to start an internet business or are you looking to take an existing business online? It is not hard. However, there are a lot of thing you need to know. One of the key things you will need is a website presence. There are many ways to get website up and running. You can build it yourself by learning the skills on the internet or hire it out.

If you are looking to build a business on the internet, one of the first things you will have to consider is keyword research. This is one of the ways to research your market or niche. This is extremely important. If there is no demand for what you are presenting, it would be a waste of time having a site built.

Keyword research is the starting point for all successful internet ventures. There are many reasons you will want to dig deep and uncover the right keywords during the preplanning stages of starting an internet business or taking an existing business online.

Before you ever start building a website, the most important thing you can do is look at the demand for your market. Are people actually looking for what you are planning to promote? If not then it is useless to target a market or niche that clearly is not a group of buyers. The goal is to target a segment of a market that is clearly searching for your product, solution or offer.

So how do you get started on keyword research? There are many keyword tools on the internet to help with this. Some are free while others cost money. One of best free tools that you can use is the Google Keyword tool. Since this search engine accounts for most of the internet traffic, it only makes sense to get your data from them.

When you are using the Google Keyword Tool, you will be able to uncover all sorts of intelligent market data. This not only shows you how many times a particular keyword or phrase was searched for, but it also provides you with a lot of useful information such as search market trends, level of competition, pay per clicks bids, and much more.

At the bottom half of the screen, you will also see related search terms. These are terms that will help to broaden your thinking when you are search for ideas. While there is a lot of data presented, you want to focus on key areas such as monthly search volume, estimated global search volume and search trend. Use the drop-down menu to see this data after you have performed a search.

When you are using the free Google keyword tool, also sort the data using the drop-down menu so your can see the cost per click data. Apart from looking at the monthly search volume, the cost per click data will tell you how many advertisers are bidding on keyword phrases and how much they are paying for clicks.

You can bet that if advertisers are consistently bidding on search terms, then there is a demand for the keyword phrases. This is one of the best ways to uncover profitable opportunities online. Use the data this tool provides as your way of looking deep into market trends before you create a website.

4 Ways To Get Effective Backlinks – Link Building Tips

October 15th, 2009 Daniel McGonagle No comments

A lot of site owners realize they need links to their sites if they want more organic traffic that results from higher rankings. There is a bit of a scientific method involved when it comes to obtaining backlinks that work for you and your sites. The 4 most effective methods for getting backlinks are outlined in this article

Publishing articles to article directories has to be my favorite way of getting backlinks. The reason why I like this method so much is because you get backlinks, direct traffic and even some direct sales from article marketing. One extra step most webmasters fail to do with their article marketing is to obtain links for those as well.

A great way to get deep backlinks to your site is to submit your sites’ RSS feed occasionally. However, if you can find a way to automate your RSS submissions, then you’ll be able to truly harness the power of this type of backlink generation. A big misconception about doing RSS submissions is that it’s for blogs only, and this is quite untrue. You can make RSS feeds out of any type of site and document format.

Social bookmarking links have the potential to drive targeted traffic to your sites and increase your rankings. One thing that has made this a less important part of most people’s link building campaigns is when the social sites switched over to NoFollow attributes for their links going out. Social bookmarking is still a recommended and effective method for getting backlinks merely because this process can be 100% automated.

Blog networks have recently become a popular way to get backlinks from targeted relevant sites. The way link building with blog networks is much like article syndication. With so many people using these networks, a lot of these have turned into huge link farms filled with sites linking out 1000% more than they’re getting linked to, therefore these sites have upside-down link juice and don’t really help your efforts much. If you choose a good blog network link building service, your results will be nothing short of amazing.

Would you spend $500/month to see which.link building services are the most effective? Daniel McGonagle spends more than that every month testing and reviewing which link building services will serve you best. Click here to get your own unique version of this article with free reprint rights.

Search Engine Rankings And The Practise of Article Marketing

October 8th, 2009 Nicole Sherzinger No comments

Article marketing has become very popular as an SEO (search engine optimization) marketing method under the recent Web 2.0 phase of ecommerce on the Internet.

Viral circulation of articles via social networks such as ‘Facebook’ and ‘LinkedIn’ on any subject have become immensely popular. This quick popularity of article marketing however has had a detrimental effect on the quality of online content, mainly due to individuals writing low-quality articles as a quick way of achieving exposure. Online blogs have appeared almost overnight full of duplicated, plagiarized content from automated article marketing services.

Writing original relevant content is a much more efficient way of article marketing but does require some invested effort in researching and writing the content, but you are more likely to increase referrals to your site if you have something original to say that they havent already read or heard, and you are more likely to get inbound links to your page from other sites if they consider your content is worth linking to.

A rank in a search engine like Google basically means where your web page comes in the race to get listed when someone does a search for a particular keyword. The web pages that are considered by Google to be most relevant to that keyword and which are also considered the most important are listed in descending order in the search results.

How do you get your website listed in Google? Well getting a page listed is quite easy – you just point 1 link to it from an existing website. But getting your website listed in Google’s index is one thing, getting it to rank well is completely another. This the major goal of anyone involved in trying to promote an application on the world wide web, since Google, for the moment anyway, is probably the single-most important entity on the www. The main rule to consider is that while there are lots of guidelines and common-sense rules, SEO is not a hard science and anyone who trys to tell you it is, and can achieve you a number #1 position for $2500 in a short period are generally not to be trusted.

If you keep in mind that Google reportedly changed its search engine algorithm more than 400 times in 2007 should send a strong message that the Google index is constantly changing. The complexity and fluidity of the ranking algorithm, as Google continually seek to supply users with the most useful relevant results, means that it can be a difficult target to hit.

The art, or science, of SEO involves attempting to influence that algorithm and basically concerns itself with relevant content and a large number of quality inbound links. The higher a page lists in the search results, the more likely it is to receive a larger number of visitors. For internet marketeers, this increased traffic generally means an increase in sales and profit, and the practise of article marketing is currently one of the most effective methods you can employ to achieve this.

Learn Why SEO is Not A Science!

October 1st, 2009 Yasir Y Khan No comments

Any person who says that SEO is a science (and not an art) is definitely wrong. If search engine optimization were a science, we would all be making thousands of dollars because many of us would have cracked the code on how to get those coveted rankings in Google.

SEO is mostly an art (even though some parts can be thought of as a science), because there are many ways to do it successfully, and the exact way of ranking high is often elusive. Here are some reasons why SEO is not a science:

1. No one knows what the secrets to doing SEO the right way is: No one knows what the secret sauce is. If you think there are people who know the exact way to rank high, you are wrong. The algorithm that Google uses changes many times a month, so trying to crack the code does not work.

2. Ranking high is a quality game: If ranking high was based on quantity, people would spend thousands of dollars trying to get crappy links (and many people still do that), just so they can beat their competition. Ranking high is really dependent on many things, but focusing on quality of inbound links makes a big difference.

3. Google hates it when you make them look stupid: There are countless websites which are burnt down by Google every year. Most of these websites either have spammy content or simply try to trick Google into making them rank high. Because Google can be quite difficult to fool, SEO is not a science, otherwise everyone would be fooling Google all the time.

4. Most people who take the wrong approach fail: There are thousands of SEO agencies selling links for 10 cents a piece from their own network of websites. What they do not know is that the links pass no link juice, because their Page Rank has been burnt to the ground. Anything which tries to relate SEO to a science fails miserably.

5. Ranking high mostly is a very difficult task with a huge reward: If you can rank high easily, what is stopping everyone else from doing the same thing. This would totally defeat the purpose of having search engines. Therefore, steps have been taken to make sure people cannot game the search engines, which means that ranking high is not a science.
